The Gallery of Modern Art is the main gallery of contemporary art in Glasgow, Scotland which displays work by local and international artist. It offers a programme of temporary exhibitions and workshops that is amazing to experience first hand what there is to see. The Gallery also addresses contemporary social issues through its major biannual projects.

This Gallery was in fact the first ever in door gallery I have visited and I can honestly say it was a pleasant experience which I would happily re-visit. The Gallery at the time of my visit displayed some intriguing piece of which I found fascinating and inspirational. Please see below some of the piece I which viewed.

This piece was created by an artist called Niki de Saint Phalle. My eyes where first drawn to this as it is odd but quirky and I just love the overall craziness of it which has a positive impact on the surrounding.

This piece was involved in an installation of multiple piece which collectively explores the concept of domestic bliss, from domestic labour and feminism to intimate relationships and contested social roles.

This piece was created by Andy Warhol. I was honestly thrilled to see his work in person as he has such a huge impact on modern day art as well as my own art practice.
