Roa
Roa’s street art is primarily known for the strong obsession for animals and pests. He often combines life, death, and life after death in his murals, which quickly distinguishes him amongst traditional muralists. Roa’s work individual addresses conservation and the threat of environmental annihilation and invites the viewing public to reconnect with nature. Each piece is displayed in a vulnerable state which allows a sympathetic response to take and empowering appearances towards the original meaning behind his pieces. Many of Roa’s street art piece capture current political issues/situations in which many feel strongly towards and connect with and the fact that they are displayed in public environments allows more interact and opinions to be made upon the current matters of the world. I too want my work to have a strong mean behind them like Rao has behind his work, and I hope to adapt from his style and intentions.

This piece is un-titled however it does follow a powerful series produced by Roa contradicting and challenging the views on animal cruelty.
