Peter Kyprianou.

He is a London based artist whose style consist of drawing and digital techniques which uses both sketches and photoshop to experiment further with the structure and bring colour into play of his creations. He has a clear and graphic creative style which is bold and eye-catching hypnotising the viewing audience when the view his work. His style is perfect for icons, pictograms, infographics, line based artworks and storyboards, all of which he expertly produces using his experience and natural drawing ability. I find his work to have a pop art like style with the blocked colours and bold features used to meet the eyes of his target audience. Within my drawing practice I will try to adapt the style in which Peter Kyprianou uses to help elevate my self-negotiated theme project, I feel by using his colour concept and structure I will be able to add more depth to my local town and the wonderful architecture/history it has to offer.

Tobias Wüstefeld.

Tobias Wüstefeld is an expert at creating miniature worlds. He takes a playful approach to image making be taking original sketches and experiments with them in different various situations to help him decide on which route to take before using 3D software to make his sketches come alive. His work has a unique atmosphere about it, the colour aspect of his work doesn't add nor subtract for the overall look. It highlights details beautifully showing of the full potential of his own imagination. Wüstefeld's work hold so much detail for the viewing audience to relish in, its a different way of creating animation to me this piece on the right looks like a collage in my eyes he has layered his animation to portray both 3D and 2D images. The new settings and environments created visually interact with the viewing audience and automatically opens their perspective to adapted an be inspired by that of the mind and imagination of Wüstefeld.

Morgana Wallace

Morgana Wallace is an artist and illustrator whose work revolves around female heroines and mystical beasts, within my self negotiated project I will adapt her technique and style rather than her inspirational theme behind her work. Her mixed media compositions includes both texture and colour that portrays unique interesting shapes in which are merged and layered together to create beautiful decorative pieces. The use of unique material such as wallpaper samples and Japanese linen paper helps to add a deeper visual aspect and the use of foam board behind the cut out piece helps to create a depth and shadow that entices the viewing audience attention and also adds to Morgana's painterly quality of her scenes.

August Lamm

August Lamm is a pen and ink illustrator artist, who's work captures the ancient skill of etching, crosshatching and engraving. Line by line each image created by August Lamm creates is done by hand. The viewing audience can't help but stare in wonder, marvelling at her crosshatched shading and the sheer amount of detail in the line work. Her work I find to be uplifting and inspiring as not only is she capturing her observed object she is also adding characteristics, history and a story with each individual singular line she adds, giving depth and helping to catch the eyes of many. This artist has inspired me to adapt her bold style of line work in which I will incorporate with in my future drawings in order to transform them from being simplistic unrealistic piece to complex realistic piece with depth within them.
